SCOOT BOOT STOCKIST - For all your scoot boot needs !!
After trying many other hoof boot styles, Jenn found Scoot Boots the easiest boot to fit to most horses.
They are extremely durable in all terrains and she has had great success with fitting them to laminitic horses as well as those transitioning from being shod to barefoot.
Scoots are the best boots for rehabbing hooves.....but we might be a bit biased !!
If you have been thinking about taking the plunge into booting your horse, please give Jenn a call on 0434 143 262 or email [email protected] to arrange a boot fitting day.
(Always best to have your horse fitted for boots, just after a trim)

Hoya Firelight's journey.......
Life gets busy over the Christmas / New Year break......the weather is hot.......the flies are friendly ......and the last thing you want to be doing is trimming horses !
Worse if they are your own !!
In Feburary 2024, I knew Sages feet were long and kept thinking ...tomorrows job. Really bad decision.
Whilst skylarking in the paddock the boy has landed on a rock and torn the back of his hoof out.
And so the healing journey begins !!
The flap of hoof was trimmed off but the injury was a Vet job. Nadine from Gilgandra Vet Clinic did a great emergency surgery removing all the dead tissue to give me something to work with in healing.
Dressing changes, apple cider vinegar soaks, cremes and potions, baby nappies, copious amounts of vet wrap.....and super dependable Scoot boots.
Pics taken after trimming this morning, 01/01/2025, only about another couple of trims to go and we have a normal hoof again. Thankfully a happy ending !!
Scoot boots and regular trimming save the day..

The paint horse's story......
This beautiful soul arrived for adjistment and could hardly walk off the float. Sadly his owner had been unable to manage his feet due to health issues and with a flush of green feed, this poor boy was in a terrible pickle.
Trimming his feet was really tricky as he couldn't hold his weigh on the other hoof, so the best we could do was a couple of swipes with the rasp every seoond day trying to manage the flares. He was a brilliant patient, I'm sure he knew we were helping him !!
After a week we managed to get his fronts into padded baby nappies, just to give his soles a bit of cushioning as his hoof shape wouldn't fit into boots just yet.
10 days later we managed to get him into Scoots shells with the fronts cable tied while we waited for his new boots to arrive. I swear this boy hugged me with his head the first time he put his hoof down and it wasn't so ouchy !!
The horse would then wear his Scoot Boots 24/7 for the next 2 months until we could get his feet back to a normal shape and strength. (Boots were removed at least once a day to check for rubs and fit)
I'm sure this boy would have not come so far in such a short time if it wasn't for Scoot Boots and a structured trimming routine.
